This highly interactive seminar will offer insights and practical wisdom for legal, social science and education professionals.  Professor Jennifer McIntosh has achieved worldwide acclaim for her innovative and insightful work.  This seminar willL

  • address the developmental consequences of divorce and separation for children;
  • examine current evidence of the impact of conflict on young children; and
  • outline resources available for parents in dispute over the care of very young children.

Jennifer McIntosh is a clinical and developmental psychologist, family therapist and researcher.  A Professor of Psychology at Deakin University, Jenn leads the perinatal science stream of the Centre for Social and Emoritonal Development.  She is a Fellow of the Murdoch Children's Research Institute and a Senior Fellow of the University of Melbourne.  

Jenn's 30-year career has been devoted to attachment and care-giving, focused on families and young children experiencing trauma or transition.
